Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the safe city project in Faisalabad, a remarkable accomplishment completed within a mere 45 days. He assessed the city’s security infrastructure using the advanced CCTV cameras integrated into the digital wall at the Punjab police’s state-of-the-art command, control, and communication center.
In his address, CM Naqvi underscored the perceived impossibility of initiating such a project within 45 days. However, Faisalabad not only met but exceeded expectations, outpacing cities like Multan and Rawalpindi. He described the transformation of a nondescript structure into a splendid building within this short timeframe as an exceptional achievement, crediting it to the collaborative efforts of the team.
“Our primary goal was to commence the project promptly, ensuring no delays in its execution. Meanwhile, the C&W department has consistently delivered numerous projects ahead of schedule,” remarked CM. Expressing gratitude to various departments for their dedication, he emphasized that the early completion of multiple projects was a testament to their commitment and hard work. The CM acknowledged that this achievement was not an individual feat but a collective effort of the whole team.
Highlighting the potential of the chairman PITB and MD PSCA, Mr. Naqvi expressed confidence that given the opportunity, they could bring international projects to Pakistan. He affirmed, “I am telling you with confidence that these two officers will not only bring international projects to Pakistan but also ensure their successful implementation.”
