ABU DHABI – The Fuel Price Committee of the United Arab Emirates has announced petrol and diesel prices for February 2024 amid changes in global oil rates.
As per the announcement, the price of Super 98 petrol saw an increase of 0.06 dirhams and the new price stands at AED2.88 against the previous price of 2.82
With the latest changes in fuel prices, the Special 95 petrol price has been increased by 0.05 dirhams and the new rate hovers at AED2.76.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel saw a marginal drop to AED2.99.
All eyes were on fuel prices as local cab operators changed their fares as per the change in petrol prices.
In the global market, oil prices remain below $80 a barrel in mid-January, but in recent days, the fuel rates are trading at $82.63 a barrel, moving up.
For the unversed, fuel rates in United Arab Emirates are lower than global average despite being deregulated.
