PML-N President and former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif promised to build e-libraries in every park of the provincial capital and to build the swimming pools at the sports complexes of the city if they came into power.
“We built the sports complexes here. If we get a chance this time then we will build a sports complex in every provincial constituency of Lahore. We will also build the swimming pools,” said Shehbaz Sharif while addressing a gathering in PP-172, Gulshan Ravi, Lahore on Tuesday.
“Do you know how to swim?,” he asked the audience, sarcastically saying that they should not do anything while swimming that he should finally be blamed.
He said, “you will read digital books and the newspapers of New York and London at the e-libraries. We will also provide tea and Pakoras to the people at the e-libraries where they could enjoy good reading and quality tea at the same time,”.
“People of Lahore, time has come that you should be honest with the PML-N as you should cast vote to the lion,” said Shehbaz Sharif, promising with the people to serve them honestly under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
He said, “If they add just one point [Nuqta] at Teer [Arrow, the symbol of PPP] it will become Sher [lion]”.
