Shah, Maqsood inaugurate first Alumni festival 2024

The President of the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, Muhammad Ahmed Shah, inaugurated the ‘First Alumni Festival 2024,’ bringing together renowned intellectual and humorists Anwar Maqsood.

At the occasion, Maqsood praised Shah for his dedicated efforts in promoting art and culture, encouraging students to focus on their work, while Minister Ahmed Shah highlighted the accessibility of art education to those who can’t afford it.

The Alumni festival, organized under the Arts Council International Art and Culture (ACIAC), showcased various artistic expressions, including an art exhibition by ACIAC students, Drum Circle, Dance Flash Mob, Open Music, Live Painting, and Dance Performances. The renowned singer Shafqat Amanat Ali mesmerized the audience with his soulful voice.

The festival, set to continue until Sunday, aims to engage not only prominent figures in the art and culture community but also a diverse audience, emphasizing the importance of artistic expression and cultural exchange. Renowned vocalist Ali Azmat is also scheduled to perform during the ongoing festival.
