Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) announced plan for a sit-in outside the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi in protest of what they term as ‘poor results’ in the recently announced intermediate exams. The announcement comes in the wake of higher-than-usual failure rates reported in both matric and intermediate exam results.
JI Karachi Chief Hafiz NaeemurRehman alleged the BoIEK of playing with the future of children of the port city. Rehman alleged that children’s education has been systematically undermined, resulting in their failure due to incompetence and negligence.
