A terrorists’ ambush near a police check-post in Dera Ismail Khan on Tuesday left at least two farmers dead and serious injuries to equal numbers of others.
“As many as two farmers were killed after a terrorist attack reportedly carried out near a police check post located near the Garah Hayat area of Dera Ismail Khan city,” officials said adding the farmers were working in the field while two others sustained injuries. Some reports suggest exchange of fire took place between the militants and the security forces, though no loss of life was reported on part of the Police.
