Governor seeks report on Karachi students’ failure

Sindh Governor Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori visited the Karachi Intermediate Board. Governor Sindh sought details of the matter from Commissioner Karachi/Chairman on the issue of failure of Karachi students. Later talking to the media, the Governor Sindh said that abuse of students will not be tolerated. I stand with every oppressed person of the province”, he said.

Governor further mentioned that 66 percent children of Karachi have failed, this is a question of the ability of the education system. He said that the children of Karachi are worried, they have come here and held a meeting, it is satisfied to come here, parents are also satisfied, there is a communication gap. Kamran Tessori said that commissioner Karachi has improved the functioning of the board. In response to a question, the Governor Sindh said that copies of 10 children who have taken 80 percent in matriculation will be checked, the score will be done soon so that the results could be determined.

He further said that there will be no discrimination with parents, the Chief Minister of Sindh is also worried about this issue. In response to another question, the Governor Sindh said that only 769 children have approached for scrutiny.
