Initiations of GreenEnovate projects were significant as this could deal with solid and liquid waste management and could help us to decrease pollution, said the state minister for Tourism and SAPM on Youth Affairs, Syed Wasi Ali Shah. The ceremony of Prime Minister’s GreenEnovate Conference on Liquid and Solid Waste Management collaborated by HEC and PM Youth Programme held at IBA on Monday. State Minister for Tourism and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Syed Wasi Ali Shah honored as the Chief Guest at the event. While speaking at the ceremony, Cheif Guest Wasi ali Shah stated that this flagship project about green environment was significant in all the PM youth programmes.
This subject was rare to discuss as world itself didn’t have enough awareness about climate change. He added that this was a very sensitive issue as well. Climate change had altered the world and its livelihood. In current era, youth had good opportunities to deliver in every aspect of business.
He further said that green youth movement clubs had been established in 137 universities and atleast 80,000 students were the members of this club. Shah applauded the initiations of such innovative projects as this could deal with solid and liquid waste management and could help us to decrease pollution. State Minister commended the role of UNICEF, ANGRO, and other organizations and entrepreneurs who presented their work at the conference.
He said that trade was another form of entrepreneurship and trade was a prayer, as this way people served the humanity. State Minister stressed that not to waste our natural resources as this could not be a good sign.
He asserted that avoiding wastage of resources had socio-economic and religious advantages, as our religion and societal norms taught us in advance.
