Under training DSPs of Sindh Police visited the Central Police Office and met with DIG Logistics & Procurement Athar Ismail Amjad. Under training young officers were informed about the working and professional matters of the Logistics and Procurement Branch. DIG Logistics & Procurement Athar Ismail said that the procurement branch of Punjab Police procures all items including police uniform, transport, furniture and stationery for the force and as per the directives of the Punjab Government, all procurement processes are now being transferred online under the e-procurement system. Under training DSPs were briefed about procurement procedures, formation of different committees and purchase process.
Trainee officers also asked various questions about the procurement process. Under training officers of Sindh Police are getting awareness about the working of Punjab Police during their training.
