LAHORE – A student of a private university jumped from the tenth floor of a high-rise building, and eventually died after suffering fatal injuries.
It has been learned that a heartbroken student of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has jumped from a building located at Penta Square, Defence B area of Lahore.
The deceased identified as Syed Musa – a B.Sc student of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) – had an argument with a girl as the duo attended the party. The disgruntled boy, who was said to be under influence of a banned substance, jumped off from the balcony of a flat in the posh area.
Local cops said the student ended his life after having an argument with the girl during the party.
The dead body was taken into custody and police launched an investigation into the incident, and proceedings are underway.
A troubling pattern is on the rise in youth in parts of the world, with university students vulnerable to high levels of suicidal ideation.
Earlier, a girl identified as Alina jumped from the roof of a coffee shop in Lahore’s Defense area.
