Speaker KP assembly Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani came back to Pakistan after staying more than 7 months at Dubai and UK and appeared in the court of District & Session Judge Ikhtiar Khan where he was granted bail before arrest upto 26th Jan 2024 on the production of bail bonds with surety of two persons.

Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani who was earlier granted transit bail by the Peshawar High Court upto 27th December 2023 which was later extended to 22nd June with the order to DG Passport to provide Passport to KP Speaker whose passport was expired and he (Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani) claimed that he cannot travel back to Pakistan and to appear before courts in Pakistan to face the cases and also to contest election from PK 45 and NA 16.

Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani has filed his nomination papers through is elder brother having his special power of attorney where RO has rejected his papers for both seats PK45 and NA 16 which were challenged by his lawyer Naz Elahi Mughal Advocate and election tribunal allowed Mushtaq to contest election.

After arrival of Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani in Pakistan, situation in favor of PTI will be changed and he is likely to give tough time if allowed to take part in election campaign and will make difficulties for the rival candidates especially of PML (N).
