Another three housing schemes declared illegal in Rawalpindi

ISLAMABAD – Rawalpindi Development Authority declared another three housing societies as illegal, alarming citizens from purchasing plots in unauthorized schemes.

RDA D.G sent notices to three unauthorized housing schemes including Shah-i-Khrasan at Mouza Chakra.

It said Imperial City located at Mouza Sahang and Ring Road Town at Mouza Harka, Basali near Chak Beli Khan Road are also illegal.

Meanwhile, RDA also identifies owners of these three illegal private housing schemes. Saeed Rizvi, Masood Azmat, and Umar Awan were sent notices, RDA spokesperson confirmed.

The development authority also directed Director Metropolitan Planning & Traffic Engineering to initiate legal action against illegal advertisements and marketing of these societies.

Cases will be registered against the owners of illegal housing schemes while sponsors of these schemes were warned against the marketing of their unapproved and illegal housing projects.

RDA directed people to visits its portal www.rda.gop.pk, to verify the status of housing schemes and before investing in unlawful schemes.
