According to the details, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police organized a 05 days cybercrime
workshop for the newly formed Cyber Crime Investigation Unit officers to fortify the capabilities in combating cybercrime.
The workshop aims to highlight the significance of upgrading the skills of investigative officers to effectively tackle the evolving challenges of cybercrime and to equip officers with the necessary skills to investigate cybercrimes diligently.
The workshop, spanning five days, provided officers with insights into different facets of cybercrime investigation. Topics covered included mobile data analysis, IMEI tracing, cloning, cyber hacking, ransomware, spyware, financial fraud, and other internet-related crimes.
Islamabad Capital Police 60 officers have completed the first phase of training in collaboration with the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) in the field of digital forensics. The collaboration with FIA is part of a broader effort to address and investigate cybercrime cases effectively.
