Independent candidate from South Waziristan Lower and Upper Constituency NA-42 prominent Maulana Mehmood Alam Wazir officially launched the election campaign from Wana Bazar on Sunday. Tribal elders assured the victory of Maulana Mahmood Alam Wazir for the sake of collective rights and interests and announced full support.
Maulana Mehmood Alam Wazir, an independent candidate for the National Assembly from NA-42 constituency in Wana Bazar, while addressing the tribal elders, Ullamas and youths on the occasion of the election campaign, said that I Ahmadzai Wazir will not compromise on the collective rights of the tribes and their legitimate demands, I will fight for their right to the last extent.
He said that in South Waziristan Lower Wazirtribals have enormous problems which need to be solved urgently. He said that the previous Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa divided South Waziristan into two districts. Due to the slow bifurcation process, the tribal elders is suffering from severe difficulties.
He also made it clear that political minors should remove this from their minds that he will withdraw from contesting elections or compromise on national interests.
