The Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences (FV&AS) at PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi hosted the 2nd Annual Aridian Milk Fair-2024 on January 2, 2024. The event, organized by the Dairy Science Club, aimed to celebrate the dairy industry, promote local dairy products, and raise awareness about the nutritional benefits of dairy consumption. The event aimed to showcase a variety of local dairy products, educate the university community on the nutritional benefits of dairy, provide a platform for local dairy producers, foster a sense of community, and train students about the entrepreneurial potential of the dairy industry.
The event was inaugurated by Prof Dr. Muhammad Naeem, the Vice-Chancellor of PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, along with Mr. Muhammad Aqeel Sultan, the Registrar, and other university deans and directors. Prof. Dr. Arfan Yousaf, Dean FV&AS welcomed the delegates and introduced the event organizers, highlighting the efforts of the Department of Livestock Production & Management to address industry challenges.
