Ambassador of China Yao Jing has warned of negative repercussions resulting from India’s unilateral change of Jammu & Kashmir status from an autonomous region to its integration in the union government.
While addressing a ceremony held at the Embassy of China in the federal capital, Ambassador Yao Jing said China was deeply concerned over the Indian government’s decision and considered it would have negative impact on the region’s peace and stability.
He said both Pakistan and China are closely monitoring the situation and were in consultation with regard to devising a strategy against India’s unilateral act.
