The roundtable witnessed the participation of esteemed figures including Khalid Quddumi, Representative of Hammas in Pakistan, Senators Mushahid Hussain Syed, Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Danesh Kumar, Gurdeep Singh, Palwasha Khan,human rights activist Amina Masood Janjua, along with notable personalities such as Hamid Mir, Dr. Rashid Aftab, Ajmal Baloch, Rizwan Shabbir Kayani, Dr. Nigar, Javeria Arshad, and Qaiser Ahmad Raja.
The speakers, unified in their stance, issued a resounding call for an immediate ceasefire and an unequivocal cessation of the ongoing genocide perpetrated against the Palestinian people by Israel. Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed emphasized the urgency for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to establish a tribunal to investigate and hold Israel accountable for its egregious war crimes, condemning the atrocities targeting innocent children and women.The forum further call for OIC to convene its forthcoming meeting in Al Qudus, demonstrating a collective resolve to address the pressing issues facing Palestine.
Expressing unwavering solidarity, the forum exhibited unwavering support for the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and peace. It was underscored that Pakistan stands steadfastly by Hammas and the Palestinian cause, recognizing Hammas as the democratically elected government of Palestine.
Moreover, the forum highlighted the intrinsic connection between the Kashmir and Palestinian issues, emphasizing that the support for Palestine runs deep within the fabric of Pakistani sentiment.
