Manzoor Wassan, a senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), has made a series of bold claims and predictions ahead of the upcoming general elections in the country. Speaking to the media in Karachi, Wassan said that his party would make Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the next Prime Minister, and that no one would be able to stop him, not even Nawaz Sharif, the former Prime Minister. Wassan also dismissed the chances of other parties and candidates, saying that they would not win anything and that the PPP would secure a decisive victory.
Leader of PPP Manzoor Wassan also expressed his skepticism about the prospects of unity among the opposition parties, saying that he laughed whenever he heard such talk. Wassan said that the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was the only party that wanted the elections to be held on time, and that he prayed for their success. He also criticized Fazlur Rehman, the leader of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F), for his old wish to postpone the elections. Wassan said that everyone had the right to contest the elections and that everyone should be allowed to do so.
