ISLAMABAD – The number of filers of income tax returns has reached a record 5.3 million mark as of December 26, 2023.
As per the media reports, the Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) active taxpayers list (ATL) reached a record number of 5.3 million filers last Tuesday.
As per the FBR list, the number of individual taxpayers has reached 3.69 million. Moreover, the number of corporate/association of persons (AOPs) has reached 1.67 million as per the recently updated ATL.
