It is mandatory for Pakistani citizens living in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to obtain a Schengen tourist visa in order to get entry into Germany for tourism purposes.
Documents Required for Germany Visa in UAE
Fully completed application form in English or German and signed and dated by the applicant himself ( signed by both parents in case of minors, below the age of 18)
Passport with validity of minimum three months from the date of expiry of the requested visa
Previous passport if applicable
IMPORTANT: valid UAE residence permit (valid at least three months from the date of expiry of the requested visa / intended end of journey)
Two recent biometric passport sized
Passport copy of pages containing personal data
One copy of the signature page( signed by passport holder)
One copy of UAE residence permit
Copies of previous Schengen visa – if applicable-
For GCC Nationals- Copy of valid Emirates ID card
Overseas medical insurance
Requirements:
Valid for the entire duration of the requested visa and for all Schengen countries.
Minimum coverage 30,000 € and repatriation. (Medical insurances of credit cards are not accepted)
Conditions must be stated either on insurance document or on separate confirmation letter
Travel Itinerary including
Valid (existing) hotel / accommodation booking / reservation with full address (name, street, city, zip code, contact in-formation, booking ref.)
- flight reservation
Letter from local employer / sponsor (NOL) including name, postal address and telephone number of sponsor/company , with details regarding applicant’s working position, starting date of employment and salary and timeframe of work leave (expected date to resume duties) and purpose of travel. Additionally valid trade license copy for investor/partner of company
In case of dependents- copy of sponsor’s valid passport and UAE residence permit to be attached to letter from sponsor.
Proof of financial means of the applicant in the UAE, e.g. personal bank statements of at least the last 3 months before application, personal property, assets etc.
Minimum Bank Statement for Germany Schengen Visa for Pakistanis in UAE
The applicant should have a minimum bank balance for a Schengen visa equivalent to EUR 45 daily. It means if you have planned to stay for 30 days in Germany, you should process EUR 1350.
Germany Schengen Visa Fee in UAE
The visa fee for the Schengen visit visa stands at EUR 80. The amount would be paid in local currency Dirham at the time of submission of application.
