Balochistan Chief Minster Jam Kamal Khan has said that the provincial government is strengthening the health department to ensure provision of best medical facilities to the people. The Chief Minister was presiding over a review meeting of Medical Store Department in Quetta on Sunday. During the meeting, Jam Kamal directed the concerned officials to establish an Intensive Care Unit equipped with all modern facilities in Bolan Medical Complex Hospital, Quetta. He also directed to purchase a Mobile Medicine Testing Laboratory for testing standard of medicines being provided to the district hospitals. The chief minister said that no negligence in provision of health facilities to masses will be tolerated and those involved in slackness would have to face consequences.—INP
