Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, while very cold in northern areas during the next twenty-four hours. Fog and smog is likely to persist in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh.

Temperature of major cities recorded. Islamabad and Muzafarabad five degree centigrade, Lahore and Quetta nine, Karachi eighteen, Peshawar seven, Gilgit zero and Murree four degree centigrade.

According to weather forecast for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, very cold and partly cloudy weather is expected in Srinagar and Leh,while very cold and dry in Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula and cold and dry with fog in Jammu.
