Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 28 outlaws including four professional baggers and 12 absconders from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered drugs and weapons from their possession, a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions, the Margalla police team arrested three accused namely Muqeem Jan, Muhammad Ali and Waqas Ahmed and recovered five liters of alcohol, 120 gram Ice and one dagger from their possession.
The Karachi Company police team arrested two accused namely Zahid and AsadRehman and recovered 1080 gram hashish and 524 gram heroin from their possession. Similarly, the Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely Kasher Siddique and recovered 1,215 garm heroin from his possession, while the police team also arrested two accused namely SherZaman and Muhabat Khan involved in illegally refilling gas cylinders.
