Two Sindh government officers, Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro and Mushtaq Ajan, have been dismissed from their jobs after being found guilty of forgery in the 2020 Sindh Public Service Examination (SPSE).The Chief Secretary of Sindh issued an order for their dismissal with the Chief Minister’s approval. The order alleges that Kalhoro and Ajan, who were Controller and Deputy Controller of the SPSE respectively, manipulated the examination results to favor certain candidates over those who qualified on merit. An investigation committee, formed on orders of the Sindh High Court, unearthed the irregularities.
The committee, composed of two Grade-21 officers, found evidence that unqualified candidates were passed through “transactions,” bypassing deserving candidates.
