Officers Association AG office resents illegal strike

The officers association of Accountant General Office Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has strongly condemned the strike by the Treasury department calling it uncalled for and illegal.

The senior association members including Mohammad Riaz ,KhitabGul , HabiburRehman while talking to Pakistan Observer, lamented that a particular group under a vested agenda called strike in the district accounts offices all over the province which is highly regrettable.

Mohammad Riaz said the strike was causing great difficulty to the general public as well as the government servants adding it was the Accountant General office that came to the rescue of the public and ensured public Service delivery in an effective manner.

He regretted that Treasury office staff was not only defying the service rules but were also attempting to create rift between the Federal Government and the province which is concerning.

He called upon the concerned quarters to especially the high ups of the Accounts office to take stern action against those creating unrest for their personal gains, under efficiency and discipline act.
