PERTH – Aamir Jamal produced a splendid bowling spell as he created record by claiming six-wicket haul on his Test debut against Australia in Perth on Friday.
Jamal has become the second Pakistani player to achieve this feat and 14th overall. He ended with 6-111 on the second day of the first Test against Aussies, who were bowled out for 487.

Before Aamir Jamal, Arif Butt, Mohammad Nazir, Shahid Nazir, Mohammad Zahid, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Sami, Shabbir Ahmed, Yasir Arafat, Wahab Riaz, Tanvir Ahmed, Bilal Asif, Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed had claimed a five-for on their test debuts.
