Special quota fixed for Balochistan’s students in educational institutions

Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman has said that an educated person evaluate everything rationally. He asked the students to look at the positive side of life and be grateful.

He was talking to a delegation of students and teachers of Balochistan Residential College Loralai, headed by Farooq Kakar who called on him at Governor House Lahore on Thursday.

The delegation comprised children from 31 districts of Balochistan province.

Balighur Rehman welcomed the students from Balochistan to Governor House Lahore.

While addressing the students, he said that this country has given us so much that we cannot pay back to our country and soil.

He further said that before 2018, students of Balochistan were not only included in the laptop scheme but record number of laptops were distributed among them.

He said that transparent and public welfare schemes like laptops were discontinued after 2018. Governor Punjab said that between 2013 and 2018, special measures were taken to bring Balochistan into the mainstream of development.
