KARACHI – Gold prices plunged to week low on Wednesday as it dropped for the fifth session in line with a negative trend in the international market.
Data shared by Sarafa association suggest that yellow metal continued a downtrend and it sheds another Rs1,000 in the Pakistani market.
With a back-to-back drop, the price of 24 Karat Gold moved down to Rs212,600, while the 10-gram gold was being quoted at Rs182,270.
Price of 22 Karat Gold stands at Rs197,360, 21 karat rate for per tola Rs188,400 and 18k gold rate is Rs161,475 for each tola.
In this week, the gold prices declined by over Rs6,000 per tola.
Globally, the gold rate stands at $1,998 per ounce, after drop of $7.
