Weather outlook of Karachi, Sindh; smog/fog prevails in upper districts

KARACHI – The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast mainly dry weather for Karachi, Hyderabad and most districts of Sindh during the next couple of days.

According to the synoptic situation, continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan.

Under these conditions, mainly dry weather is expected in Karachi, Hyderabad and most parts of Sindh on Sunday evening/night and the next two days.

Smog/fog is likely to prevail in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki and Padidan during morning and night hours.

Smog/fog is likely to disturb vehicular movement in upper districts.

In Karachi, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 13-15 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature is likely to remain between 12-14 C on Monday and Tuesday.

Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed across Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Mithi remained the coldest place in Sindh where mercury dropped to 06 C.

Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 79 per cent.

In Karachi, minimum temperature was recorded at 15 C.

Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 84 per cent.

In Hyderabad, minimum temperature was recorded at 14 C.

Relative humidity during the morning was recorded at 69 per cent
