KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan went up on Thursday after registering a decline for two consecutive days in the domestic market.
According to the Sarafa Association, the price for yellow metal increased by Rs800 per tola to settle at Rs218,900.
Similarly, the gold price surged by Rs685 per 10-gram to reach Rs187,671.
In the international market, the price of gold increased by $2 per ounce to settle $2,030.
A day earlier, gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a huge drop in the local market in the wake of a huge drop in the international market.
Data shared by Sarafa association suggest the price of single tola of 24-carat yellow metal moved down by Rs 6,000, hovering around Rs 217,000. The 22-carat gold stays at Rs 198,917.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold stands at Rs 186,043, whereas the 22-karat gold is currently being traded at Rs170,539.
