MULTAN – A man has been mauled to death by four tigers after he entered its enclosure at Bahawalpur Zoo.

Staffers at Bahawalpur Zoo found the body of a man who apparently barged into the enclosure of the big cats.

The incident surfaced when the Zoo administration arrived to feed tigers and they found the man’s body drenched in blood.

The administration of Bahawalpur zoo said they launched probe to find how the victim reached the enclosure.

Local administration cast doubts on the mental condition of the victim. The zoo authorities also confirmed that the staff count is full as the area was secured.

Zoo officials said no missing person report was reported to the police.

As the incident caused distress, Punjab interim Chief Minister took notice of the incident and sought a report from Commissioner Bahawalpur. Naqvi also directed officials to submit a report.
