ISLAMABAD – The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday enhanced electricity tariff by Rs3.07 per unit.
As per the media reports, electricity price has been increased as part of fuel cost adjustment for October, 2023.
It will be recovered from consumers in bills for December 2023.
The new rates will apply to all except lifeline users and K-Electric customers.
According to NEPRA, as many as 9.25 billion units were generated from furnace oil and 3.11 billion from hydropower sources.
