LDA seals 31 premises for illegal commercial use in Lahore

LAHORE – Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operation against illegal commercial activities and defaulters of the commercialization fee.

On Monday, LDA team sealed more than 31 premises on Canal Road, Johar Town, Thokar Niaz Beg, Bhubatian Road and Raiwand Road for non-payment of commercialization fees.

These properties include food points, pharmacies, hotels, restaurants, medical labs, banks, cafes, mobile shops, sentry shops, academies, easy money shops, ice cream parlors, solar shops, courier service, studio and pet shops.

Chief Town Planner-II Azhar Ali carried out operation with the help of enforcement teams and Police. As per the officials, several notices were issued to owners before carrying out the operation.

LDA Director General Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed continuing indiscriminate operation violation of bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use.
