ISLAMABAD – ChildLife Foundation organized a boot camp training session on Pediatric Emergency Medicine at PIMS for doctors working at telemedicine-enabled DHQ/THQ hospitals.
As many as 12 doctors from PIMS and DHQ Attock, THQ Hazro, THQ Taxila and THQ Hasan Abdal attended the session that covered a broad spectrum of vital topics in pediatric emergency medicine, providing hands-on training in areas such as trauma, anti-rabies vaccination, airway management, anaphylaxis, poisoning, and HBB (Helping Babies Breathe) techniques.
By addressing these critical areas, the training aimed to enhance the capacity of on-ground government doctors in DHQs and THQs and ensure they are well-versed with the latest practices and evolving needs of pediatric emergency care.
ChildLife is currently present in all districts of Punjab & Balochistan and all tehsils of Sindh with the Telemedicine Satellite Centres setup.
