District Police Officer Attock Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bokhari has chalked out a comprehensive plan to ensure peaceful environment during Eid ul Azha. Under the program 2326 police personnel which include 6 DSPs, 15 Inspectors, 200 sub inspectors and asstt sub inspectors, 945 head constales, comstables and lady constables, 35 elite force sections and 1158 police volunteers.
These police officials will ensure fool proof security of 329 mosques, 26 open areas where eid prayer will be offered, 20 imambargahs and 2 Ahmadi worship places. Parking near mosques, imambargahs and open prayer places will not be allowed. DPO said that CCTV camers, walk through gates have been installed at sensitive mosques, imambargahs and public parks. Heavy traffic would not be allowed to enter city areas. DPO said that lolice would utilise all available resources for the securty of the people and said that people to also cooperate with police in this context.
