Sindh Caretaker Health Minister Dr Saad Khalid Niaz has stated that the medical profession is sacred, and doctors play a Christ-like role in saving human lives. He recounted saving a life as is at par saving humanity as a whole.
During his visits to various departments such as the emergency, blood bank, dental ward, hepatitis, Medical Ward, Trauma Center, and others at civil Hospital Makkli, he expressed deep concern over the use of rusty needles and lack of blankets and quilts for patients. He directed the hospital administration to ensure cleanliness, especially in all wards, by providing blankets and quilts for patients, supported by photographic evidence in the soon-to-be-submitted report.
He gathered detailed information on facilities provided to patients and issues faced by doctors, instructing the chief surgeon to ensure the availability of better medical facilities and free medicines for patients. He also addressed complaints about oxygen shortages and ensured prompt action. Dr. Saad Khalid Niaz emphasized continuous malaria testing facilities from 8 AM to 8 PM. KHUDA BUX BROHI
