The International Business Delegation (IBD) organised a “Road Show” event at a local hotel on Monday with the purpose to provide opportunities to Pakistani companies to scale up their businesses globally.
Punjab Board of Investment & Trade CEO Jehangir Bharwana honoured the event as the chief guest. Shakeel Ahmed Khan who has been recently appointed official ambassador of the International Business Delegation (IBD), an international investor and business network, for Pakistan and Tajikistan, represented IBD platform at the event.
“Pakistani established companies as well as entrepreneurs especially the young and dynamic brains have enormous opportunities to grow their businesses using the platform of IBD.
Addressing on the occasion, Bharwana appreciated the IBD team for showing interest in Pakistan market and said, “Such initiatives are essential for not only attracting foreign investment in Pakistan but also provides an excellent platform to project local Pakistani business globally”.

Such networking is also important for promoting the right image of Pakistan globally to boost the government efforts to promote Pakistani culture and tourism.

As the IBD is set to organize a 4-day IBD Summit 2020 in Doha from April 6 to April 9, Shakeel Khan is expected to lead a delegation of
Pakistani Business Community from Pakistan to Qatar’s capital.
More than 1,000 delegates from over 100 cities of various countries are participating in the historic summit.
