Three including a soldier martyred in DIK

As there was no letup in assaults on the private organizations working on various development projects and Gas Companies in Di Khan division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in a fresh attack on a private company vehicle left at least three people including a soldier martyred.

“One soldier and two civilians were martyred after terrorists opened fire in the general area of Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan. The Military’s Media wing said Tuesday.

An Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) communiqué said on Tuesday the militants fired upon vehicles of a private company working on a development project in the area. “Resultantly, two innocent civilian employees of the company, Muhammad Faisal, 35 and Asif Kamran, 29 who were residents of district Karak embraced Shahadat. Sepoy Syed Muhammad Shaheen Shah, who was 33 and a resident of district Hangu, was employed on the security of the project. He also embraced martyrdom while fighting gallantly with the terrorists.

On the other hand a terrorist was killed during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in the Bara Tehsil of Khyber tribal district on Tuesday.

Military sources said weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militant who was identified as Qudrat Shah alias Abu-Bakar. The killed militant, the officials remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.
