Islamabad Capital Police apprehended 11 outlaws from different areas of the city during the last 24 hours and recovered liquor, drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession, a public relations officer said.
He said that, following the special directions of Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, the Islamabad Capital Police has intensified crackdown against the criminal elements in order to eliminate the crime from the city.
Following these directions the Shalimar police team arrested an accused namely Said Aziz Shah and recovered one 12 bore gun from his possession.
The Tarnol police team arrested an accused namely HasratUllah and recovered one 30 bore pistol with ammunition from his possession.
Likewise, the Sangjani police team arrested an accused namely Muhammad Nawaz involved in illegally gas refilling. The Sihala police team arrested an accused namely Esab Khan and recovered 250 gram heroin from his possession.
Similarly, the Humak police team arrested two accused namely Ishfaq Ghafoor and Adeel Abbas and recovered 3556 gram heroin from their possession. The LohiBher police team arrested two accused namely Muhammad Shahbaz and Muhammad Shakeel and recovered 1057 gram hashish from their possession.
Moreover, the Phulgran police team arrested an accused namely Idrees and recovered 213 gram heroin from his possession.
