Former Pakistani President and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, addressed party workers in his hometown of Khuda Bux Brohi, Thatta, as he gears up for the upcoming elections.
In his recent speech, Zardari revealed that there were individuals who expressed their discontent when he transferred some of his presidential powers to the parliament through the 18th constitutional amendment. Although he did not explicitly name these dissatisfied individuals, there was a prevailing belief that some within the security establishment might have been among them.
Zardari highlighted that these individuals did not display much enthusiasm when they congratulated him for relinquishing those powers.— Khuda Bux Brohi
