The process of repatriating Afghans who have been living illegally in Pakistan for a long time has been completed. Deputy Commissioner South Waziristan Lower Muhammad Nasir says on Wednesday, from 15 october to 31 October, 1209 Afghans have been sent away honorably through Pak-Afghan border Angoor Adda. He said, those who returned included men, women and small children.
DC said that these are the Afghans, who were staying illegally in Pakistan, the state of Pakistan had decided a month ago, that by October 31, Afghans residing illegally in Pakistan will be sent to their homeland, Afghanistan. The DC said that strict legal action will be taken against the Afghans who stay behind after October 31.
It should be remembered that during the civil war in Afghanistan, a large number of Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan for the last 40 years.
