Baqar suspends Malir DSE, CMO and tapedar over non-compliance

Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Chief Minister Justice (R) Maqbool during his surprise visit to district Malir and Korangi placed the services of Director School Education, Chief Monitoring Officer (CMO) Education, Malir and Tapedar of Malir under suspension for their failure to conduct an inspection of the schools and improve and absence from duty. The education dept officers have completely failed to improve the educational atmosphere in their schools and none of them were ready to conduct inspection of their sub-offices so that their issues could be resolved in the public interest, the CM said. The CM at Quaidabad went to the office of Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Hyderi where all the sub-registrars of District Malir had offices. All the offices had no electricity for the last one years and they were using generators. The offices were giving a filthy look where heaps of dust were lying in the corridors. The CM directed Commissioner Karachi Saleem Rajput to get the electricity of the offices restored.

The chief minister checked the records of the sub-registrar offices, Malir Town, Korangi Town, BinQasim, Landhi and Ibrahim Hyderi and directed them to dispose of their pending work. The chief minister found that TapedarArshadIqbal was not absent from duty, therefore he placed his services under suspension.

The Chief minister witnessed a dumper loaded with sand and gravel crossed his vehicle. He directed the SSP Malir to impound the dumper and stop lifting sand gravel illegally. He also directed Deputy Commissioner Malir to get the entire area of QuaidabadChowk, Flyover area neat and clean. Govt Boys School: The Chief Minister visited NA Abbasi Government Boys Secondary School, Landhi, DistrictMalir where 252 students were enrolled.
