Police given Rs35 crore to solve petrol supply problem

Due to the special efforts of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the problem of petrol supply for the vehicles of Punjab Police has been solved and the Government of Punjab has released additional funds of 35 crore rupees to the Punjab Police for the purchase of petrol. DIG Finance and Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin said that the funds have been released online to all the police districts of Punjab by the Finance Department.

More than 05 crore 51 lakh rupees. were released to Lahore Police through online. Similarly, all the districts including Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala have also been given online funds for petrol purchase.

DIG Finance and Welfare further said that additional IG Investigations, DIG Traffic Punjab, CTO Lahore and other chief traffic officers have also received funds online. This issuance of additional funds will provide uninterrupted supply of petrol for the police vehicles across the province.

DIG Finance and Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin further said that in the first week of November, Punjab Police will receive 3 billion and 50 crores rupees. additional funds from Punjab government, Those funds will ensure uninterrupted supply of petrol to police vehicles in next quarter too.

DIG Finance and Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin further said that due to the personal interest of IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, the Punjab government has given additional funds for the purchase of petrol and the notification of funds being online has been sent to all including CCPO Lahore, CPOs, DPOs and CTOs.
