The Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Karachi, Sami Abdullah Saleem Al Khanjari has said that the award ceremony organized by “Star Chef” was a good effort and he came here to see different Pakistani food, that was tasty, in Oman.
Talking to the media on the occasion of Pakistan Culinary Summit 2023 here Wednesday, the Consul General of Oman congratulated the organizers for organizing such a conference and award ceremony. He said Pakistani food is also available in some hotels in Oman.
The Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Karachi, Sami Abdullah Saleem Al Khanjari said Chef is a profession in which men and women can earn a decent living and provide for their families. Seeing that people are adopting the cooking sector in large numbers. Director General Sindh Food Authority Agha Fakhar Hussain said that the main objective of organizing this award was to promote the image of Pakistan and to show that Pakistan was a country of peaceful, friendly, creative and talented people on the planet and to showcase their exceptional talent, they appreciated the talent of the contestants and judges as well.
He also thanked the organizers of the event that such a wonderful event was possible due to their dedication, hard work, and sincere efforts. Sindh Food Authority Head Chef Muqim Soomro, Rescue Commissioner Tahir Sheikh and others also participated in the event. Awards and certificates were distributed among the attendees.
