On the directions of the Chief Minister Punjab, five-day ‘Sehat Mela’ lunched in the Punjab including district Hafizabad for providing free of cost different treatment facilities to the people, on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Sundas Irshad inaugurated the ‘SehatMela’ at District Headquarter Hospital. DC said on this occasion that free of cost medicines, different diagnostic, screaming and treatment facilities including hepatitis, diabetes, mother and child healthcare will be provided to patients during ‘Sehat Mela’.
She said that ‘Sahat Malywere also arranged at Tehsil Headqurater hospital Pindi Bhattian and seven rural health centres including Sukheki Mandi in the district. She said that with the establishment of ‘Sahat Mely’ and medical camps, the best medical facilities would be available to people and holding of ‘Sahat Mela’ was a revolutionary and people friendly steps of the Chief Minister Punjab. She also visited different counters set up in the ‘Sehat Mela’ and reviewed provision of medicines and treatment facilities to the people.
Meanwhile, DC Sundas Irshad visited Family Park and checked recreational facilities available in the park. She directed the officers of Municipal Committee to improve cleanliness.
