Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori on Saturday inaugurated the Wedding Expo at Expo Centre Karachi. He visited various stalls of the expo which would continue on Sunday also. Governor Sindh lauded the management for organizing such an event and their commitment for providing wedding related items on discounted rates.
While talking with media Governor Sindh said that those who are engaged in business activities despite economic difficulties are commendable as they are contributing towards national exchequer.Replying to a question about former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ,Governor Sindh said that being a Pakistani he has every right to come back to his homeland and challenge decision against him in the court of law.
“No one should question his right to return to his motherland”, Governor Sindh added.He said that there was an urgent need of Istehkam-e-Pakistan Commission so as to evolve a viable strategy to mitigate the hardship being faced by the country on economic front. “All political forces must unite on one point agenda of reviving the economy as without economic stability we would not be able to survive”, he opined.
He invited all to come to Governor House on Sunday at 6 pm and participate in candle light vigil for the Palestinians under brutal attack of Israeli forces.
Civil society must participate and show that they care for the oppressed Palestinian people, he added.Moreover, on the directives of Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori, total of 322 of ration bags amongst less privileged people distributed at Governor House on Saturday under Taqatwar Pakistan campaign.
It is pertinent to mention here that more than one lac 10 thousand persons have been given the ration bags so far. Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori while reaffirming the commitment has said that the long standing support of philanthropists, the distribution of ration would continue to extend helping hand for the less privileged people.
