Islamabad Electric Supply Company IESCO is dealing hard with running and dead electricity defaulters and power Pilferers and all steps are being taken to eliminate both anti state elements from IESCO region
Chief Executive IESCO Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan while briefing said that with collaboration of IESCO Police and district administration we are getting very good results against both on going Campaigns during a regarding on going Compaign.
According to the details, IESCO’s recovery teams have successfully collected 208.65 million from 19361 running defaulters, as well as 234.13 million from 8319 dead defaulters. Overall ongoing campaign IESCO has recovered 442.78 million from 27680 customers.
On the other hand, IESCO detection teams are much actively working against electricity theft by charging 3.07 million units by imposing fines 142.98 million on 2204 electricity thieves.
Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan emphasized that this is a National Compaign and will continue as our priority is to eliminate power theft and to recover each consumed electricity unit amount by the defaulters. He also appreciated IESCO recovery and detection team tireless efforts. He directed all formations that towards target achievements no slackness will be tolerated. He also requested valuable customers to be that part of this Compaign by reporting power theft on help line number 118.
