The Pakistan cricket team received a boost ahead of their upcoming match against Australia in Bengaluru during the ICC World Cup 2023.
According to sources opener Fakhar Zaman and leg-spinner Usama Mir have fully recovered from their respective ailments and are available for selection for the crucial match. Zaman had been struggling with a knee injury, while Mir has been battling fever.
After arriving in Bengaluru from Ahmedabad, Pakistan will take a day of rest before resuming their training in preparation for the match against Australia.
So far in the tournament, Pakistan has secured two victories in three matches, but their lone defeat came against their arch-rivals, India, in a highly anticipated match.
In the match against India, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma showed his exceptional batting skills, scoring an impressive 86 off 63 balls and leading the Indian team to a seven-wicket victory.
