The head of the Afghan Business Council in the UAE, Haji Obaidullah Sader Khail, said that Fly Dubai airlines is due to resume activities on November 15.
“After a long delay, we have made a lot of efforts for it. Fly Dubai has agreed to begin flights on the 15th of the coming month (November),” Sader Khail said in an interview with TOLOnews.
Sader Khail said the resumption of flights will improve the trade relations between the UAE and Afghanistan.
He said that the resumption of flights will reduce the prices of tickets for passengers.
After the Islamic Emirate came to power, many international airlines suspended their flights to Afghanistan. Afghanistan-based airlines have been providing international flights since the Islamic Emirate takeover, but Fly Dubai is the first foreign airline to resume flights to Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Khaleej Times also reported that the carrier will operate twice daily between DXB’s Terminal 2 and Kabul International Airport.
