The federal government has decided to file a review petition against the Supreme Court judgment in the NAB amendment case.
Sources say that the review petition would be filed in the Supreme Court on October 13. On September 15, a three-judge SC bench headed by ex-chief justice Umar Ata Bandial struck down some sections of the amendments made to the country’s accountability laws last year by the previous coalition government, restoring corruption cases against public representatives.
